Job description

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrative assistant to work with our construction inspectors and project managers. This position is expected to work in the Tampa office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares correspondence, reports, proposals, contracts, meeting agendas/summaries, etc.
  • Assisting project managers with project setup and RFIs
  • Enforcing corporate style standards
  • Maintain project and office data files
  • Assists in preparing project status and financial reports
  • Assist with data entry
  • Assists project managers with project billing and collection
  • Maintaining schedules, meetings, and travel for staff as needed
  • Assist with production efforts, such as printing and quality control

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An associate degree (or higher) in a business administration, English, communication, or related field and at least two (2) years of relevant office experience

--OR-

  • If no degree, must have at least four (4) years of relevant office experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Working with construction projects and/or staff
  • Preparing project status reports or other project related communications
  • QA/QC for reports, correspondence, contracts, etc.
  • Providing support to project managers
  • Assisting with meetings (note taking, meeting minutes, etc.)
