Yard Coordinator
C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers – Houston, TX 
About the Role
C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of our daily scale / yard operations. The ideal candidate will assist with traffic flow within the facility, ensure correct grading and documentation of materials, support customer service initiatives, and help maintain overall operational integrity. 
Key Responsibilities 
·         Collaborate with the Non-Ferrous Retail Center to coordinate material movement and support cross-functional teamwork. 
·         Inspect and grade incoming and outgoing scrap materials accurately. 
·         Record and document grading results and material adjustments with precision. 
·         Work closely with Scale Operators to verify the accuracy of all loads and shipments. 
·         Direct customers to appropriate offloading areas and assist customers with unloading while delivering professional, courteous service. 
·         Ensure compliance with company policies related to material handling and customer processing. 
·        Proactively identify and extract high-value materials during customer unloading to maximize recovery. 
·         Assist with additional tasks and duties as needed to support operational goals. 
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements 
·         Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). 
·         Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift. 
·         Comfortable working in an industrial, fast-paced environment. 
Position Details 
·         Full-time. 
·         Occasional travel to satellite locations may be required. 
Candidate Requirements 
·         Strong customer service and communication skills. 
·         Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. 
·        Must be Fluent in English and Spanish to ensure clear communication with a Diverse Customer Base.
