Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist the Vice President of Research and Director of the Hip Center to perform their duties effectively

  • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, travel, and appointments for the executive and physician

  • Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings

  • Attends meetings and prepares minutes as needed

  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions, perform other duties as assigned

  • Prepare and submit expense reports for the Research Department on a monthly basis.

  • Welcome and direct visitors and Scottish Rite for Children staff

  • Treat all confidential material in a responsible and confidential matter

Required Skills/Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must have at least 2 years of Executive Assistant experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems

  • Ability to work independently
