KEY RESULTS AREAS: SAFETY - QUALITY - EFFICIENCY
1. LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountability) Lead personnel through holding accountable, career development, coaching, teaching, training, mentoring, and reviews.
o Managing your crew
2. Must demand & cultivate safety culture including: adherence to applicable rules & regulations, training, & PPE.
3. Be accountable for the Execution & Quality of the work performed by you, your crew, or your subs/suppliers.
o Subs/Suppliers would consist of the following:
i. Trucking
ii. Coring/Cutting
iii. Concrete & Granular
iv. Vac Trucks
v. Dumpsters
vi. Etc.
4. Proactively plan your portion of the work and be accountable for the 3-5 day look-ahead schedule.
o Weekend/After Hours Coverage, as needed/required.
5. Own the budget for your portion of the job (labor, material, and equipment).
o Know our contract scope of work, manage change orders through Superintendent and/or PM.
o Manage project during/after weather.
o Consistently attain production rates.
Additional Duties:
• Use good logic/reasoning in decision making.
• Oversight of field personnel on a daily basis
o Resolve personnel issues à run up the chain of command when required.
o Report "pulse" of workers back to superintendent and/or DOFO periodically
• Planning and execution of daily schedule to complete jobs on time and on budget
• Manage pump truck, will calls, inspections, testing, washouts once they are setup by Superintendent.
• Monitor productivity by using unit rates from bid, scoreboard, etc. à communicate to crew and adapt processes, as needed.
• Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies and promotes safety culture.
• Work alongside field employees to complete daily production.
• Complete necessary paperwork and entries into Time Tracking system.
• Lean Change agent.
• Communicating with superintendent on a daily basis.
• Make sure jobs are ready for the next phase à i.e., no loose ends.
• Focus on fixing problems that arise.
• Lead by example.
• Create a team atmosphere where everyone is in it together.
• Make sure new team members are aware of what is needed/expected of them.
• Manage efficient use of rental equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance of equipment, as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not a requirement.
- Must posses valid DL in good standing.
