Job description

Salary:

Hunt Electric, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable individual for our DAS Foreman in our Technology Division. Our ideal candidate should be outgoing, service-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.

The DAS Foreman will oversee installation of varying types of DAS and Small Cell equipment, to include but not limited to the installation of Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5/6A cable, and other appropriate components.

Major Duties:

  • Plan and define scope and mobilization plan.
  • Provide activity coordination/sequencing assistance.
  • Understand project specifications and construction drawings.
  • Execute resource planning, produce material requisitions, and produce 6 week look aheads.
  • Assist with project labor projections and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Interact with client, general contractor, and understand customer expectations.
  • Perform material & supply management, and have the ability to understand project financial commitments.
  • Utilize construction technology tools, and provide onsite management of subcontractors.
  • Execute quality control procedures and high level quality craftmanship by provide attention to detail and having great customer service.
  • Assist with site commissioning and turnup,
  • Occasional travel. ~25% or less.
  • Experience leading crews with the ability to lead and help educate team members.
  • Experience with delivering large complex projects.
  • Proficient in fiber-optic installation / termination / splicing.
  • Proficient in coaxial cable termination & testing.
  • Experience with WSP/Carrier base station installations, communications site grounding, and Comm Room buildouts.
  • Proficient with Fluke test equipment both Fiber and Copper.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ Years in the DAS, wireless cellular (tower), or DAS industry.
  • Proficient in software programs like Microsoft Office 360, Bluebeam, and other industry related programs.
  • Possess good communications skills.
  • Proficient in Work Station and copper feed terminations.
  • History of successful project performance resume in Low Voltage or Wireless Telecom Industry.
  • Valid Drivers license and a clean MVR.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Mon Friday 6:00am 4:30pm, possible Saturdays 6:00am 2:30pm.
