E-Scooter Delivery Driver (1099 Contractor)

Location: Wichita, KS
Warehouse Address: 1208 N Mead St, Wichita, KS 67214

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Pay: $16.00/hour

Job Summary

Veo is seeking operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and improving the efficiency of fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs.

The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout their shift.

Responsibilities
  • Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned tasks
  • Drive a company-provided van during your shift
  • Locate scooters and perform battery swaps
  • Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
  • Perform basic repairs and quality checks
  • Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
  • Maintain accurate task completion through the Veo app
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology
  • Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
