Job description

Position : Senior Oracle SCM Functional Consultant
Location : Lisle, IL
Duration : 6 months.
Description:
The position primarily works with and supports the Navistar service parts organization. The requirement is for an Oracle EBS Functional consultant with solid experience in Supply Chain management including Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing end to end life cycle implementation experience. Responsibilities are: Evaluate business requirements, needs and objectives, prepare solution approach, with effort and cost estimates โ€ข Contribute to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages (including scenario design, flow mapping). Perform root cause analysis for frequently occurring issues and provide permanent fix โ€ข Review functional setups & configuration and take corrective action โ€ข Raise support tickets with Oracle support and follow up for solution โ€ข Coordinate with DBA, Technical consultant and other Functional consultants for implementing fixes related to functionality as well as application performance related issues.
Qualifications Required:
  • Functional professional with 2+ complex, full lifecycle Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management - Order Management/ Distribution implementations (Oracle R12) and extensive hands on experience
  • Minimum 6 years of Oracle EBS experience and strong understanding of Oracle OM, Inventory, Shipping Execution in a complex application footprint with interfacing third party applications and legacy systems
  • Good understanding of PL/SQL, Unix/Shell scripts
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.

Preferred:
  • Domain Experience in OEM Service Parts
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team and manage multiple task assignments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentExcellent mentoring and skills transfer capabilities
