Join our dynamic team as an SCM Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our software configuration management processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on-site in Richardson, TX, contributing to strategic projects and optimizing CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic projects to enhance software configuration management processes.
  • Optimize CI/CD workflows and drive infrastructure modernization.
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate Gitlab workflows and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive runbooks, wiki pages, and pipeline templates.
  • Implement policies to ensure code quality, compliance, and security.
  • Provide timely resolution for CI/CD or migration-related incidents.
  • Offer 24/7 on-call support for critical issues.
Skills
  • Proven experience in software configuration management with tools like Gitlab.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of containerization on Kubernetes/Open Shift.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and branching strategies.
  • Experience in automating operational tasks and incident remediation.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Jfrog Administration.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with scripting/programming skills.
  • GitLab Certified Administrator.
  • Recent experience with GitLab Self-Managed administration.
  • Background in build management, configuration management, or quality testing.
  • Familiarity with SCM practices including Agile, CI, and CD.
