Description:

The Sanitation & Housekeeping Technician keeps G10 Fulfillment's warehouse and facility clean, organized, and compliant with AIB International Food Safety standards. Working from a structured cleaning schedule, this role documents completed tasks for supervisor sign-off and takes pride in maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Key Essential Duties

  • Sweep and maintain warehouse aisles, bays, and racking areas, correcting any deficiencies found during inspection.
  • Clean elevated and structural areas (ceilings, racking, beams) using a scissor lift as needed (certification provided).
  • Collect and properly sort waste and recyclables, keeping collection points clean and well-stocked.
  • Clean interior and exterior dock areas, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Perform exterior grounds pickup to keep the facility's outside presentation to standard.
  • Maintain organized, properly labeled custodian closets and chemical storage per OSHA/AIB guidelines.
  • Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks and support AIB audit prep and readiness inspections.
  • Clean and restock breakrooms and restrooms as time allows.
  • Log completed tasks for supervisor verification and correct any work that doesn't meet standard.

  • Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or food-grade facility a plus.
  • Scissor lift or aerial work platform certification a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stands, walks, bends, stoops, and reaches throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Comfortable working at heights of 20+ feet on an aerial work platform.
  • Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures, dust, cleaning chemicals, and outdoor weather.
  • Required to use PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear.
  • Works around active forklift and pedestrian traffic; situational awareness required.
