Job Description

Ensure regulatory compliance of products, labels, advertising and promotions as well as adherence to Kraft policies and guidelines

Develop nutrition and regulatory technical information for ingredients and products

Review/approve label graphics for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy

Review advertising and promotional materials for technical accuracy and complianceΒ 

Provide nutrition and regulatory guidance on project teams to enable accurate decision-making

Partner with R&D and business teams to identify opportunities for the brands

Stay abreast of nutrition and regulatory developments and identify opportunities and implications to the business


Qualifications

B.S. in Nutrition, Food Science or related scientific field

Minimum 5 years of experience in Regulatory, Nutrition, R&D or Quality with a global/US food manufacturerΒ 

Experience with FDA/USDA food regulations, specifications, and labeling databases

Excellent problem solving, organization, and time management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to handle complexity, multiple projects and work under tight timelines

Strong drive for results and ability to bring projects to completion

Willing to travel 5%

Knowledge of FDA and/or USDA regulations and their applicationΒ 

Excellent problem solving, prioritization, and organizational skills Attention to detail, must have strong voice and be a leader willing to be vocal

Ability to handle complexity, multiple projects and work under tight timelines.Β 

Strong drive for results and ability to bring projects to completionΒ 

Ability to learn on the fly and is detail-oriented (able to switch gears quickly as the needs reprioritize)Β 

Excellent written and oral communication skillsΒ 

Comprehension of PLM software (Experience with Interspec is a huge plus) and a packaging review system (Mosaic)
