The Litchville-Marion School District is seeking applications for a 8 - 12 Science Instructor. 

Position Details
The Litchville-Marion School District invites applications for an 8-12 Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work in a newly constructed facility designed to enhance STEM education for students.

Responsibilities

 
  • Teach science courses (e.g., general science, biology, chemistry, physics) aligned with state standards.
  • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on labs, experiments, and demonstrations.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in professional development and collaborate with staff to support student success.
  • Engage with parents and the community to encourage involvement in student education.
 

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor's degree in science education or related field.
  • Valid North Dakota teaching license (or ability to obtain)
 

Compensation
Competitive salary and benefits based on experience and district guidelines. Base salary for the 2024-2025 school year is $44,100.00  Benefits include 12 sick leave days, 2 personal days, and $10,175.00 towards a 125 cafeteria plan.
