Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Writer with over 10 years of experience who will serve as the liaison between customers and support services. This role involves coordinating graphic design, document processing, editing, proofing, quality control, and printing services. The position requires overseeing and coordinating work to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion that meets customer needs. The role also entails creating and maintaining user manuals, technical documents, and training materials, ensuring they adhere to applicable standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between customers and support services functional providers.
  • Oversee and coordinate work to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion.
  • Communicate project status with clients and adjust resources as needed.
  • Review, edit, and coordinate the production of publications in accordance with standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and legibility of all published materials, both electronic and printed.
  • Collaborate on planning, design, development, and deployment of new publications.
  • Compile input from multiple sources and guide document cohesion.
  • Provide research, writing, document consultation, and development/design services.
  • Oversee various E&CS communication platforms, including web and SharePoint sites.
  • Compile and produce reports; tabulate and analyze survey data.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand product details.
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread technical data for clear documentation.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in technical writing (flexible).
  • Ability to convey technical material in a concise, understandable manner.
  • Highly organized and able to plan.
  • Experience writing and creating newsletters.
  • Familiarity with engineering terminology and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and engineering specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Creativity, brainstorming capabilities, and graphics work experience.
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts to ensure communication accuracy.
  • Team player willing to support various projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr.
