Job description


POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Volunteer Services Specialist will partner to recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers through formal and informal events, programs, and practices. The Specialist will manage a designated portfolio of active volunteers and is directly responsible for the selection and support process for designated departments. Volunteers are utilized at the following locations as needed: Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Specialty Centers, and Park Nicollet Clinic sites.
SCHEDULE: FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, 8:00-4:30, M-F except holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
    • 3 years previous experience as a volunteer leader.
