Position: Middle School Life Skills/CTE Teacher
Hours or FTE: 1.0 FTE Starting Date: August 18, 2026
Job Description: Stewartville Public Schools is seeking outstanding applicants for a 1.0 FTE. Middle School CTE (FACS, Agriculture, Industrial Technology) teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications/Degree: Valid Minnesota Teaching License in CTE, Family and Consumer Sciences, Industrial Technology or Agriculture
Position Summary: This position will teach a Career and Technical Education Exploratory class at Stewartville Middle School. The curriculum will explore multiple components of Career and Technical Education including:

Special Job Requirements: Within federal and state law and regulations and district policies and practice:
  • Responsible for the management of the instructional program and assigned students.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assisting in the same throughout the building.
  • Responsible for the assessment of student progress.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Minnesota State Standards are met.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by the building principal which are necessary to fulfill the basic function of the position and are consistent with the Master Agreement.

Beginning Salary Range: As per the Stewartville United Educators' Master Agreement
