Your Role

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares project plans, schedules, and budgets by using project management tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to develop products from conceptualization to launch.
  • Ensures that projects meet product/project specification/performance/deliverables and project timeline.  
  • Oversees project progress by confirming completion of various department responsibilities.
  • Reports progress and project status to various levels of the organization.
  • Develop reports to track and monitor key metrics and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Identifies and leads initiatives for improving CPC project management systems.
  • Maintain accurate information that is readily accessible and meets all ISO documentation requirements.
  • Work effectively with key personnel at our global facilities as it relates to new product development and release.
  • Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
  • Assists in efforts to resolve product/project performance issues.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates support of CPC core values, with a highlight on entrepreneurial spirit and winning through customers.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred business, science or engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required; must be able to communicate and present effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
  • Project management credentials preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Project management in manufacturing and new product development preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify critical path, communicate and instill a sense of urgency in the team.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach toward project management, complimented by an educated and realistic business outlook.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems preferred.
  • This role may require less than 5% of travel. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
