Overview

Unlimited Instruction (UI) is seeking dynamic face-to-face teachers with a passion for supporting students in grades K-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, under the direction of the Unlimited Instruction's team, and the school district, you will create an engaging and safe learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Development and Instruction:ย 

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.ย 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and participation.ย 
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.ย 
  • Integrate technology and other innovative tools to enhance learning experiences.ย 
  • Other Duties as assigned by the Program Manager and/or School Administrator(s).ย 

Student Assessment and Evaluation:ย 

  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.ย 
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback regarding academic performance and behavior.ย 
  • Utilize assessment data to inform instructional practices and interventions.ย 
  • Other Duties as assigned by the Program Manager and/or School Administrator(s).ย 

Classroom Management:ย 

  • Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and expectations to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.ย 
  • Address and manage behavioral issues promptly and effectively.ย 
  • Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture that fosters mutual respect and cooperation.ย 
  • Other Duties as assigned by the Program Manager and/or School Administrator(s).ย 

Collaboration and Professional Development:ย 

  • Work closely with colleagues, including assistant teachers, special education staff, and administration, to support student learning and development.ย 
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements.ย 
  • Lead or contribute to school committees, events, and initiatives as needed.ย 
  • Submit records related to attendance, student progress, and other UI program requirements on time.ย 
  • Other Duties as assigned by the Program Manager and/or School Administrator(s).ย 
  • Attend evening, virtual ILC meetings.ย 

Knowledge and Skills:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Science, Social Science or a related field.ย 
  • Must meet the Content Knowledge standards required for a provisional teaching license; Valid teaching certification in K-12 education preferred;ย 
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a K-12 school setting.ย 
  • Strong understanding of child development and elementary education best practices.ย 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.ย 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.ย 
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.ย 
Qualifications

As a successful applicant, you must have a passion for helping students succeed. Additionally, you will need to have the following:

  • Three years of experience leading K-12 instruction.
  • Eligible for, or in possession of, appropriate California Teaching Certificate (preferred).
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching.
  • An understanding and working knowledge of music standard.
  • Skills necessary to teach reading in a manner compatible with the curriculum.
  • Be local to the area.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree (degree in education preferred).
Compensation

$40 per hour | Monday-Friday | Daytime schedule
