Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Science Analystical Lab Technician position in Marysville, OH. Job Summary:

Support Science & Analytical projects by performing routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general laboratory support activities using established methods and Good Laboratory Practices.
Ideal Candidates:

  • This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and committed to producing accurate and timely results. A plus is, passion for food, especially coffee and coffee enhancers.

Responsibilities for the Science Analytical Lab Technician includes but not limited to:

  • Sample Management - Receive, process, track, prepare, ship, dispose analytical sample requests.

  • Routine Analysis - Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food grade samples.

  • Planning & Communication - Communicate and coordinate with PMs, scientists, lab members to organize weekly workload.

  • Data & Documentation - Record results accurately, enter system data, and generate routine reports.

  • Safety & Compliance - Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean environment and comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or B.S. in a Science related field with one year related experience or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with three years related experience.

  • Reliability & Accountability.

  • MUST be able to work with autonomy and be results focused.

  • Proactive Cooperation.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Initiative

  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Programs and have be computer literate.
