Overview:

As a Support Engineer for the Industrial Food & Beverage division, you will be the primary support for your district to ensure the cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically and safely at accounts within the district. You will also assist and work alongside sales account managers with the design and implementation of cleaning and sanitizing programs.

What You'll Do:

* Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective food safety programs within the Food & Beverage industry.

* CIP and OPC program management and development.

* Have a good understanding of Clean-In-Place (CIP) in food, beverage, and dairy operation(s). Ability to manage these programs and develop improvement processes

* Ability to work flexible hours (nights and weekends) to accommodate cleaning operations and preventative maintenance schedules within plants.

* Ability to work in an industrial plant environment and remain compliant with all company and customer plant, safety, and OSHA requirements.

* Update databases with each service visit and generate weekly service reports as required

* Assists with technical issues at customer sites, brings any issues to the customers attention and puts together a plan for corrective action - ensures the sales account manager is kept informed

* Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required

* Assist with data analysis on program performance

* Routine monitoring and maintenance of chemical feed and monitoring equipment as required

* Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge

What You'll Bring:

* Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree

* Solving complex and non-routine technical problems

* Strong relationship management skills

* Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly

* Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues

* Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

* Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical

* Must have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record
