JOB DESCRIPTION
The Radiologic Technologist I position works independently to complete a variety of routine, diagnostic radiology procedures to include common and special fluoroscopic exams of routine to moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures. This Radiologic Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to diagnostic radiology exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. This position is a member of the direct patient care team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:

- Provides accurate and complete documentation of patient procedures. Enters charges at the time service is delivered.

This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of diagnostic radiology exams. The Radiologic Technologist II position serves as a mentor and trainer for Radiologic Technologists I and preceptor for clinical students. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The Radiologic Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopic procedures.
