Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategic advisory services for the Life Sciences consulting team by supporting business and intelligence development activities. You will manage individual work efforts and projects to deliver insightful data analysis which may include strategic recommendations, effective project management, technical or operational consulting expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and expand senior client relationships and be a key contributor to the growth and culture of the Life Sciences consulting team.
  • Act as a thought partner to project teams and clients, helping shape strategic options and data approach methodology.
  • Translate complex findings into executive-ready deliverables including models, slides and concise written narratives that clearly articulate options, trade-offs and recommended actions.
  • Design and lead quantitative analytics that generate insights and hypothesis generation that inform critical business questions.
  • Present research methodology approach, key insights and strategic recommendations to clients.Research and apply appropriate AI tools to accelerate analysis, develop new frameworks and enhance both individual and team workflows.
  • Design research tools and methodologies applicable to address and inform decision-making for project needs.
  • Work with project teams to develop deliverables including methodologies, data analyses, and strategic recommendations.
  • Perform data analysis, produce quantitative modeling, and interpret qualitative data to create actionable recommendations and inform business strategy.
  • Contribute to business development by shaping proposals and identifying follow-on opportunities with existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in life science strategy consulting required.
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and graphs is required.
  • Life sciences strategy consulting experience across more than one sector such as pharma, biotech, medical devices, and MedTech is required.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools including generative AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics platforms to accelerate analysis, develop insights, and support strategic recommendations required.
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical capabilities to extract key insights from multiple disparate data sources required.
  • Experience working with teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with senior executives, ask provocative questions, and facilitate productive, decision-making discussions.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills; able to connect disparate data points from multiple sources into a coherent story.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication capabilities in writing and in presentations, ability to simplify complexity for non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias for option generations and moving work forward based on imperfect information.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
