Position Overview
Primary purpose is to assist Dr. Andrew Stoehr with scientific research by collecting data, entering data, and general laboratory maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark plants on the Butler Prairie
- Assist with field experiments on the Butler Prairie
- Take measurements, counts, and other forms of biological data
- Enter data into computer spreadsheets
- Basic lab maintenance (organization, cleaning, etc)
Minimum Qualifications
- Some college-level biology coursework
- Reliability, attention to detail, punctuality
- Transportation to and from study site(s)
- Ability to work in hot, sunny, rainy conditions around insects
