Job description


Position Overview
Primary purpose is to assist Dr. Andrew Stoehr with scientific research by collecting data, entering data, and general laboratory maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mark plants on the Butler Prairie
  • Assist with field experiments on the Butler Prairie
  • Take measurements, counts, and other forms of biological data
  • Enter data into computer spreadsheets
  • Basic lab maintenance (organization, cleaning, etc)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Some college-level biology coursework
  • Reliability, attention to detail, punctuality
  • Transportation to and from study site(s)
  • Ability to work in hot, sunny, rainy conditions around insects
