The person holding the position acts as a subordinate to the team leader and plays a key role in supervising nursing staff, ensuring continuity of care and the quality of services offered to users. Main responsibilities: Assist the team leader or head nurse in managing care activities Supervise and mentor nursing and auxiliary staff on the shift Ensuring the distribution and prioritization of care Participate in the clinical assessment of users and the monitoring of care plans Intervening in complex or urgent clinical situations Ensuring continuity and quality of care Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Communicating relevant clinical information between teams Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, standards and policies Document interventions according to professional standards and Law 25 Requirements: Training and permits: DEC in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Member in good standing of the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ) Right to practice in Quebec Experience : Relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting Experience in supervision or coordination (a significant asset) Professional skills: Clinical leadership and a sense of responsibility Management and prioritization skills Good clinical judgment and autonomy Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure Team spirit and professionalism Proficiency in spoken and written French Strengths: Experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home care Driver's license and vehicle Required documents (Quebec labour standards): Up-to-date curriculum vitae Proof of diploma Proof of registration with the OIIQ Professional references Valid work permit (if applicable) Any other certification required according to the mandate Employment equity: At Asicc-Med, we believe that every skill has its place.
