Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving middle school students in a supportive educational setting near Amherst, MA. This long-term assignment runs through June 24, 2027, allowing educators to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally. This role centers on providing tailored instruction and support to a middle school caseload, ensuring each student receives the individualized attention they deserve.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification required
  • Experience with middle school-aged students preferred
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
