Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered depending on district supervision availability. 1โ€“2 years of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with writing, implementing, and tracking IEPs.
  • Requirements: Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year start). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered depending on district supervision availability. 1โ€“2 years of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations to determine eligibility for school-based communication services.
  • Develop, write, and implement measurable goals and objectives for student IEPs in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide high-quality direct and indirect therapy for students presenting with various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, exceptional student education (ESE) staff, therapists, and families to provide integrated support and classroom accommodations.
  • Monitor, track, and document student progress regularly, presenting findings clearly during multidisciplinary IEP meetings.
