What is a school proctor?

School proctors are individuals responsible for supervising students during exams or standardized tests to ensure that testing procedures are followed and academic integrity is maintained. They enforce rules, distribute and collect test materials, monitor student behavior, and address any issues that arise during testing. Proctors may also verify student identities and provide instructions before and during the exam. Their role is essential in creating a fair and secure testing environment for all participants.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a school proctor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a School Proctor, you generally need a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, and an understanding of school policies and procedures.
