Partner with the Chief of Schools, cluster superintendents, school leaders, district departments, and community stakeholders to ensure schools receive coordinated, timely, and effective operational support and that district systems create safe, inclusive, welcoming, and community-focused learning environments across school campuses.
  • Lead the districtwide vision and strategy for effective school operations.
    • Establish and advance a districtwide framework for effective, efficient, consistent, and coherent school operations that supports student achievement and school success.
    • Develop clear expectations, systems, and processes that enable schools to effectively manage operational responsibilities while maintaining a focus on teaching, learning, student support, and school improvement.
    • Partner with the Chief of Schools, cluster superintendents, and other district leaders to identify operational challenges that affect school effectiveness and develop proactive strategies to address those challenges.
    • Promote consistent districtwide practices while recognizing the differing needs, circumstances, and priorities of individual schools and clusters.
    • Ensure school-facing operational systems are aligned with district priorities, policies, strategic initiatives, and student needs.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of districtwide operational systems and recommend improvements.
  • Strengthen districtwide enrollment practices and planning.

    • Partner with cluster superintendents and school leaders to identify scheduling challenges, analyze root causes, and develop solutions.

  • Maximize building, classroom, and campus utilization.
    • Lead strategic planning and practices for the effective utilization of school buildings, classrooms, and campus spaces to maximize available resources and support student and community needs.
