Job description

Le Jardin Academy is looking for a Temporary (One Year) Secondary Student Support Assistant for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position will provide various facets of support for Secondary students, including assignment completion, skill and content-based tutoring, and classroom support. Hours are: 7:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday.  High School diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years working with children in a school or educational setting is required.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.  No phone calls, please. Please submit a resume and cover letter. Hourly pay range starting at $21.00 per hour.

Job ScopeThe position will provide various facets of support for Secondary students, including assignment completion, skill and content-based tutoring, and classroom support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide ATL or content tutoring to students during scheduled academic support blocks.

  • Assist in the supervision of a Secondary Hale/Hui as assigned by Secondary Deans. This could include attending grade-level student support meetings and Hale/Hui planning meetings and training.

  • Work with the Learning Support Specialist in the Secondary to provide appropriate support and interventions for Learning Support students.

  • Help develop, coordinate, and communicate support block schedules for students identified as needing additional support.
