Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Clinic Graduate Assistant in the Counseling department on the Dahlonega campus. The Graduate Assistant will assist faculty, student and clients. Must be second year student at time of hire. Duration of position is approximately 14 weeks. This position will include a tuition waiver.
Responsibilities
  • Front desk duty, answer phone, conduct telephone intakes, greet walk in clients, answer phone, makes appointments etc.
  • Clerical and administrative duties, scan, fax, copy etc.
  • Assist with literature searches for faculty.
  • Communicate with the public.
  • Attend Graduate School Fair.
  • Represents the Department as a GSS senator.
  • Participate in any outside events with faculty as needed.
  • Organize any on campus events, alcohol awareness, depression screening etc.
  • Communicates with program members via Facebook page and LinkedIn.
  • Assist Clinic Director as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel), Social Media.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Currently enrolled in Master of Science in Counseling (full-time) and completed first year of course work.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • Office experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Facebook and LinkedIn experience preferred.
