Grade Levels: K–12th Grade
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join supportive school teams in the San Jose area for the 2026–2027 school year. There are approximately 2.5 OT openings available, and the district is open to considering both part-time and full-time candidates.
These onsite opportunities will serve students across grades K–12 and offer an excellent opportunity for dedicated Occupational Therapists to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatment services appropriate to your credentials
Provide services to students across grades K–12
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of special education needs
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, as appropriate
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Support students in developing functional, academic, and independence skills
Perform all duties expected of a school-based Occupational Therapist
Qualifications:
Active California Occupational Therapist license required
Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
Experience working with students across multiple grade levels preferred
Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
