Activity Director (Long Term Care)

Join Our Team!

We are seeking a dedicated Activity Director to lead and grow our long term care activity program. This role is perfect for someone passionate about senior care, resident engagement, and creating meaningful experiences that support well-being and quality of life.

Activity Director Responsibilities:
  • Conduct resident assessments to identify interests, needs, and appropriate recreational activities
  • Plan and lead daily activities that promote socialization, communication, and overall mental health
  • Encourage and support resident participation in group and individual programs
  • Coordinate activities with volunteers, staff, and community groups while aligning with facility routines
  • Organize events, entertainment, games, crafts, and seasonal celebrations
  • Maintain a warm, welcoming environment through decorations, bulletin boards, and personalized resident spaces
  • Motivate residents to stay active, engaged, and connected within the community
