Job description

Sol Systems is seeking a full-time Scheduling Associate. We are seeking an individual to build, analyze, maintain, and evaluate project schedules in all phases of the solar project lifecycle, with a focus on projects in development. This role will support Sol Systems' utility scale business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build project schedules with input from Project Developers who lead project management of projects until construction.
  • Track progress of individual tasks weekly by integrating input from Project Developer and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Analyze development schedules, helping identify risks, changes in the critical path, and other changes during construction.
  • Work alongside Project Developer to identify and report risks to key milestones based on actual vs scheduled progress.
  • Manage Level 1 through Level 4 schedules depending on the audience and the stage of development.
  • Be one of Sol's subject matter experts in scheduling.

A successful candidate will possess the following competencies, skills, and attributes:
  • BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field
  • More than one year experience of working with a project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera and using Critical Path Method
  • PMP Certification is ideal
  • Experience working in renewable project development or construction is a plus

Location & Hours: This is a full-time hybrid role that will be based in our Washington, DC office.
Commitment & Compensation: The base salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. In addition, Sol Systems provides health insurance, retirement benefits, partial gym reimbursement, education benefits, parental leave, paid vacation, sick and federal holidays, and the opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment.
