Job description
The Director, Scenic Partnerships, is a business development role. It is responsible for managing key account strategy and identifying, developing, and securing new national and international sales opportunities, with a primary focus on scenic fabrication and custom build solutions. The Director will be pipeline-obsessed and thrive on building relationships from scratch. Are you motivated by the chase? Energized by the close?
Target partnerships could include, but are not limited to, corporate events, experiential activations, trade shows and exhibits, sporting events, concerts, permanent installations, and theatrical productions both in Las Vegas and nationwide.
This role is focused on driving revenue through the sale of custom scenic environments, fabricated elements, and integrated scenic solutions, while collaborating with broader PRG service lines including lighting, audio, and video as needed.
As a highly visible role, the Director is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism while representing PRG Scenic Technologies Las Vegas (STLV) in the marketplace and is eligible for the PRG commission plan.
The Director will focus on cultivating long-term, multidisciplinary high-level client partnerships with an emphasis on profitable scenic work. This individual works closely with Sales & Estimation, Technical Design, and Project Management teams to develop concepts, budgets, and proposals that effectively communicate the value of STLV's scenic capabilities.
Responsibilities include collaboration on scope development, including scenic construction methods, materials, finishes, engineering approaches, and labor planning, as well as contributing to early-stage design conversations to help shape solutions that align with client vision, budget, and timeline. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of scenic fabrication processes, shop capabilities, and installation logistics, along with the ability to translate creative concepts into executable, revenue-generating projects. Additional related duties may be assigned as required.
This position reports to senior Sales leadership within the Corporate Events business unit.

- Drive the RFP and presentation process from initial concept through award, including strategy, pricing alignment, and value positioning
- Lead and participate in client presentations, clearly communicating scenic approach, build strategy, and execution plan
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to initiate and grow client opportunities
- Define project scope with clients, including scenic elements, budget, schedule, workflow, resource requirements, and preliminary design direction
- Identify and expand all potential revenue opportunities within each account, with a focus on increasing scenic scope and overall project value
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and clients regarding project status, expectations, and performance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, and Projects) in accordance with PRG standards and naming conventions
