Job description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for endpoint device (laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, peripherals, printers, VDIs, etc.) strategy and architecture including:
  • Platform(s) for deploying, managing and maintaining endpoints including installed applications and tools
  • Standards, policies, and procedures for endpoint management
  • Evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and tools to enhance the endpoint environment
  • Hardware endpoint device evaluation and selection
  • Full lifecycle of endpoints from procurement to decommissioning including inventory management
  • Technical documentation, architecture diagrams and SOPs
  • Training and guidance to IT staff and end-users as needed
  • Coordination with IT security teams for security polices relative to endpoints
  • Collaboration with business units to understand user needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Coordination with endpoint vendors and solution providers on new devices and technologies
  • Work with the other members of the Infrastructure Architecture team to evaluate solutions across all disciplines of Infrastructure
  • Serve as the L2/L3 escalation point for endpoint-related issues
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related degrees or experience
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant expereince
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience with endpoint management solutions, Intune, Windows 11, O365, and Teams is required.
  • Windows Autopilot deployment and profile configuration
  • Experience with Intune Proactive Remediations / Remediation Scripts
  • Intune App Deployment and troubleshooting
  • Android and IOS device management
  • Co-management SCCM/Intune experience
  • Strong understanding of endpoint hardware, information security concepts and best practices for endpoints
  • Robust understanding of common network, server and cloud computing concepts
  • Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data and present proposals in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
  • Ability to ask clarifying/probing questions of business customers
  • Ability to adapt effectively to new and changing environments
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
  • Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current certifications preferred - M365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate and CompTIA A+
  • Current experience with ServiceNow, ITIL, Autopilot deployment methodology, SCCM, Patch My PC, Citrix VDI, Conference Room Audio Visual technologies
  • Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry a plus
  • Working experience with Trend or similar AV solutions, Azure, M365 application suite, Copilot and Entra
  • PowerShell scripting for automation, remediation, and endpoint management tasks
  • Familiarity with CIS or NIST endpoint hardening benchmarks
  • Familiarity with change management processes and procedure
  • Self-starter disposition with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Ability and willingness to travel to remote company field locations and lift up to 50 pounds - Driven, self-starter with can-do attitude who constantly works to provide great service
