Clean Scapes is hiring a Maintenance Crew Member - Driver

CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute work following the direction of Crew Leaders and Account Managers.
  • Safely operate Clean Scapes vehicles, including pickup trucks, box trucks, and trucks with trailers, to transport crew members, equipment, and materials to and from jobsites.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload landscaping equipment, tools, and materials safely.
  • Proficient use of various hand tools and landscaping equipment.
  • Perform duties associated with commercial landscape maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with people from all backgrounds, emphasizing communication, cooperation, and teamwork.
  • Take care of all equipment, materials, vehicles, trailers, and uniforms.
  • Attend training classes and certifications as needed or instructed by supervisors.
  • Follow Clean Scapes safety policies and guidelines, including safe driving and trailer operation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

  • No prior landscaping experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving history required.
  • Experience driving pickup trucks, box trucks, and/or trucks with trailers is preferred but not required.
  • Must maintain a safe driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to the office or jobsite.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role involves heavy lifting, manual dexterity, and various physical tasks in Texas weather conditions. Safety and awareness are crucial, especially when handling machinery and equipment.
