Job Summary:

The Endpoint Scanning Specialist will operate and maintain security scanners to manage vulnerability scanning, create scan schedules, and analyze mission requirements to enhance security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain security scanners to plan, create, manage, and retire schedules for ad hoc and recurring scans across isolated, NIPRNet, and SIPRNet environments
• Ensure scans, accounts, and configurations adhere to best practice guides and DISA policies
• Communicate, resolve, and revalidate scan failures with all stakeholders
• Test, evaluate, and deploy endpoint scanning tools and configurations to DISA endpoints
• Analyze mission requirements and organizational feedback to create, configure, and improve scan reports
• Monitor, identify, and facilitate the resolution of performance-impacting issues
• Create and/or review security scan reports with stakeholders
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification with a network environment focus and ACAS certifications
• Seven or more years of relevant/recent experience with endpoint tools and cybersecurity
• Five or more years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Office products
• Secret Security Clearance
