Job description

Summary:
As a Full-Time Scanning Coordinator, your primary responsibility will include ensuring accurate and timely price changes and tag updates throughout the store. You will lead and assist in the coordination and execution of all scanning tasks including promotional tags, weekly ad signage, and ensuring pricing accuracy across all departments. You will work closely with department managers, store leadership, and scanning team members to maintain compliance with company pricing standards. In our Scanning Department, your attention to detail and leadership will help deliver a smooth and seamless shopping experience for our customers, while supporting store efficiency and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Scanning Coordinator activities:
  • Coordinate and execute weekly ad set-ups and promotional tags
  • Audit and verify pricing for accuracy across all departments
  • Maintain sign integrity throughout the store including price changes and markdowns
  • Support and train team members on scanning procedures and standards
  • Monitor scan audits and correct pricing discrepancies
  • Communicate with Store Director and Department Managers on price changes and scan-related issues

Other activities:
  • Assist with stocking and organizing signage and tagging materials
  • Maintain scanning work area clean and organized
  • Respond to price inquiries and scan-related concerns from customers and staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and lead by example, good organizational and time-management skills, strong communication abilities, dependable, ability to follow directions, and a strong willingness to learn and enforce company pricing policies.
