Position Summary
The Photo Scanner Operations Shift Supervisor will focus on leading a Scanner Team of technicians that comprehensively owns, maintains, supports and makes critical decisions regarding the operation and execution of scanner and stepper technology at Samsung.
This role will be responsible for team development, achieving department level metrics, assuring adequate staffing, and coordination efforts between teams, vendors and our internal customers.
Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Leading and directing a team of Scanner Technicians.
  • Coordinating and oversight of Vendor Contract management and execution.
  • Performing as a primary authority and representative of Photo Scanner Operations issues and performance as a critical bottleneck to the organization.
  • Leading and participating in safety and quality initiatives, programs and activities to drive world class scanner safety and quality performance. Providing Technical expertise and ownership for scanner systems.
  • Ensuring collaboration and communication with peer Operations teams, manufacturing, and equipment/supply vendors to sustain and maintain equipment.
  • Innate ability to problem solve and be able to make critical decisions, which includes the knowledge of when to escalate and engage full resources.
  • Work hours: C Shift - Thursday through Saturday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
  • Two-year technical degree, equivalent military experience.
  • 5+ years direct applicable photolithography semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership and management of teams is preferred.
  • Specifically Scanner or Stepper experience is a plus.

The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $124,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
