The Sr. Manager, Finance Master Operations is a global role within the Supply Chain Services capability, providing operational finance leadership and systems enablement to Global Supply Chain. Sitting within Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) Systems, this role owns the integrity, governance, and performance of finance master data and related operational processes that underpin planning, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. This position plays a critical role in ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient supply chain operations by aligning finance master operations with enterprise systems, controls, and transformation priorities .
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global Finance Master Operations for Supply Chain, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance of finance master data across SC&O systems.

  • Own and continuously improve end-to-end master data processes (e.g., cost elements, valuation, profit centers, internal orders) that support supply chain execution and financial reporting.

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Shared Services to align master data design with operational and business requirements.

  • Serve as a key finance systems leader for SC&O platforms (e.g., ERP and adjacent systems), supporting enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain strong governance, controls, and compliance standards to support audit readiness and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team and/or matrixed resources, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

  • Drive issue resolution for complex master data and systems challenges impacting supply chain performance.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise and decision support for supply chain finance initiatives, including standardization and process harmonization.

Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.

Experience and Skills
Required:
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, supply chain finance, or finance systems roles within a global organization.

  • Demonstrated experience leading or governing finance master data and related processes in enterprise systems (e.g., ERP).

  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations and their financial impacts (manufacturing, logistics, inventory, costing).

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global stakeholders and influence without direct authority.

  • Experience driving process standardization, controls, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting large-scale system transformations or ERP implementations within supply chain and finance.

  • Prior people management or matrix leadership experience in a global setting.

  • Familiarity with medical device, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Other:
  • Language: English required; additional languages preferred in a global role.

  • Travel: Up to ~15% domestic and international travel.

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
