Scale House Operator 
Location: Quanah, Tx
Description:
Our company is seeking a dependable and organized Scale House Operator to support daily operations at a rock quarry in the Quanah, TX area. This role serves as the primary point of contact for truck drivers entering and exiting the facility, ensuring accurate weighing, ticketing, and documentation while maintaining efficient traffic flow throughout the site.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, and able to communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and quarry personnel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate computerized truck scale systems to accurately weigh inbound and outbound loads.
  • Issue weight tickets, delivery receipts, and shipping documentation.
  • Verify customer orders and ensure proper load information is entered into the system.
  • Coordinate truck traffic entering and exiting the quarry while maintaining safe operating practices.
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and site personnel regarding deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain accurate production, shipping, and inventory records.
  • Process receipts and other administrative paperwork as needed.
  • Report discrepancies or operational issues to site management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional scale house environment.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a scale house, trucking, aggregates, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
