About the Role
Sky Climber Access Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Scaffold Builder 2 to support commercial and industrial projects throughout the Miami, FL area. This role is intended for seasoned scaffold professionals only. Candidates must have extensive hands-on scaffolding experience, with swing stage and supported scaffold expertise strongly preferred.
Scaffold Builder 2 employees play a critical role in job site execution, leading crews and ensuring scaffolding systems are erected, dismantled, and maintained safely and efficiently. This position requires advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership in the field, and a consistent commitment to safety while working at height.
What You'll Do
  • Carry, install, and erect suspended and supported scaffolding systems on customer job sites
  • Lead and support crews in the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffold systems
  • Load and unload trucks and materials in warehouse and field environments
  • Perform hoist assembly, platform setup, and dismantling operations
  • Safely handle electrical cords, wire ropes, and rigging components
  • Perform deliveries, including loading and unloading equipment from flatbed trucks
  • Drive company vehicles as required
  • Complete required daily job site paperwork and internal documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Follow OSHA standards and all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum four (4) years of extensive scaffolding experience required
  • Proven experience erecting swing stage and supported scaffolds (required for consideration)
  • Ability to be designated as a Competent Person in scaffold erection
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide crews safely and efficiently
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA scaffolding regulations and safety practices
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to carry two 50 lb. weights simultaneously
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent climbing of ladders and stairs
  • Ability to work safely at elevated heights throughout the workday
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions

Schedule & Employment Conditions
  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position
  • Typical schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on workload)
  • Pre-employment drug screening required
  • Background check required
  • Physical examination required
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required
