Role Description The Roofing Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Post Falls, ID, responsible for leading a roofing crew and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. Day-to-day tasks include assigning work, installation and repairs, inspecting ongoing work for quality and safety, documenting all phases of construction digitally and coordinating materials and equipment on the job site. The Foreman will read and interpret plans, communicate with project managers and customers as needed, and document progress, issues, and completed work. This role also involves training crew members on best practices, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing site challenges such as weather conditions, structural issues, or unexpected repairs. The Roofing Foreman is expected to maintain a clean, organized job site and model professional conduct for the entire team.

Qualifications

  • Strong roofing skills, including experience with various roof systems and materials, and hands-on leadership on roof installation and repair projects.
  • Proficiency in carpentry and structural work related to roof framing, decking, and roof system supports.
  • Knowledge of insulation practices and building envelope principles to ensure energy efficiency and proper roof performance.
