Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Operating Room (OR) Materials Management Technician, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the OR by performing all aspects of daily inventory management and procurement of supplies necessary for daily operations.

Your duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

· Perform inventory management for the OR

· Evaluate the appropriate Min/Max levels for storeroom stock daily and place appropriate orders accordingly

· Count all stock areas (including Point of Use or POU areas) according to schedule

· Process returns appropriately per approved policy

· Receive, deliver, and put away all OR supplies in an accurate and timely manner, document in the SMART system and deliver to appropriate departments

· Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy

 

Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent) or GED

Minimum of one year medical materials management experience preferred

Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds
