Job Description

Nature Coast Baptist Association (NCBA)

Stronger Together: SBC Churches working together to do what we cannot do alone.

Principal Function:

The Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) is responsible for providing administrative leadership for the Association, its Administrative Planning Team, its programs, staff, teams, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, conduct, and facilitate the total program of the Association as its mission strategist.

2. Lead the Association through strategy planning as needed.

3. Serve as the administrator of the Association and its staff.

4. Assist churches and pastors in accomplishing their objectives, meeting regularly with the pastors in the NCBA.

5. Come alongside local churches with missions/ministry partnerships both in the United States and abroad.

6. Help Pastors and Staff have clear avenues to stir Great Commission work in our area and globally.

Relationships and Qualifications:

1. Work with the staff and agencies of the Florida Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.

2. Be a committed Christian with a call to missions and evangelism. Have experience in and knowledge of the Southern Baptist Convention, Churches, doctrine, programs, and relationships. Adhere to the BF&M.
