Savannah Sales Representative Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Northeast Sales Wine & Spirits sales route will be located in Savannah, Ga. It is preferred the candidate lives within or near the Savannah area.
Northeast Sales Wine & Spirits Sales Representatives are responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales objectives, selling our current portfolio and new products, and general territory and account management responsibilities, including but not limited to, product placement, building displays, maintaining appropriate stock levels (inventory management), and maintaining cold boxes.
General Responsibilities:
ALL Setting a daily preplan to achieve distribution and sales goals.
Execute sales calls on current on premise accounts, and identify potential new customers.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to restaurant owners, buyers, bar managers, and specialty consultants.
Have the ability to quickly identify product placement opportunities within accounts.
Keep consistent records of sales calls and document follow-up opportunities for future visits.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and rotate stock for freshness.
Achieve sales distribution, volume, and priority goals in alignment with distributor and supplier agreements.
Ensure Northeast Sales products have high visibility within accounts in accordance with brand standards.
Educate account personnel on new and existing products within the Northeast Sales portfolio.
Schedule in-account promotions, including tastings, demos, and staff trainings.
Conduct special events, including wine, spirits, and beer dinners.
Coordinate special deliveries, including off-delivery day shipments, new accounts openings, account closings, and special events.
Maintain relationships and conduct key account calls and sales blitzes with supplier partners.
Attend general sales meetings and supplier sponsored events, as needed.
Abide by company conduct policy, including but not limited to, keeping a professional appearance, maintaining a safe working environment, and following company procedures and regulations.
Attend training seminars and workshops, as required by management.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate should meet most, if not all, of the following criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. College education + 2 years of prior sales experience preferred.
A general understanding and interest of wine, beer, and spirits.
A desire to build lasting relationships with buyers and account owners.
Be familiar with current technology and programs – Apple devices (iPad), Google and Microsoft Office programs.
Must be a driven and results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excel in an unsupervised environment and deliver positive sales results, meet deadlines, work independently but also as a team, when applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fine Wine certifications – WSET II or higher, CSW, or other equal forms of continuing education.
Spirits Certifications – CSS or WSET II or higher, mixology or equivalent cocktail experience.
5+ years of mixology, bartending, or fine wine wait staff experience.
In-depth knowledge of the Savannah market. The ability to identify and capitalize on local trends.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
The sales position requires the use of a personal vehicle.
Pass a criminal background check.
Have the ability to lift 25-50lb cases of product.
Must have a clean 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Pass a physical and drug screening.
