What is sauna sales?

Sauna sales refer to the process of selling saunas, which are heated rooms used for relaxation and wellness. Professionals in sauna sales help customers choose the right type of sauna (such as traditional, infrared, or steam), provide information on features and benefits, and guide them through the purchasing process. This role often involves product demonstrations, answering questions about installation and maintenance, and staying informed about the latest trends in wellness and sauna technology.

What are some common challenges faced in sauna sales, and how can they be overcome?

A common challenge in sauna sales is educating potential customers about the health and wellness benefits of saunas, as well as differentiating between various types (traditional vs. infrared). Overcoming this often requires strong product knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to tailor solutions to individual client needs. Additionally, building trust and long-term relationships is key, especially when working with both residential and commercial clients. Consistent follow-up and staying updated on market trends can help sales professionals thrive in this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a sauna sales representative, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Sauna Sales Representative, you need strong product knowledge, persuasive sales skills, and a background in retail or B2C sales, often supported by a high school diploma or higher. Familiarity with CRM systems, point-of-sale software, and product demonstration tools is typically required. Excellent communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills help set top performers apart in this role. These abilities are crucial for effectively educating customers, closing sales, and building lasting client relationships in a competitive market.

Perspire Sauna Studio
Wellness. Sales. Connection. Results.

Are you the kind of person who can make someone feel welcome the second they walk through the door? Do you love connecting with people, crushing goals, and being part of a team that celebrates wins?
Perspire Sauna Studio is looking for energetic, confident, sales-driven Membership Sales Associates who are passionate about wellness and know how to turn a great guest experience into a lasting relationship.
This isn't your typical front desk position.
Our Membership Sales Associates are the face of the studio, the energy behind the guest experience, and an important part of our membership growth. You'll introduce guests to the benefits of infrared sauna and red-light therapy, help them find the membership that best fits their wellness goals, and keep them excited about coming back.
What You'll Do

Create an Incredible Guest Experience

  • Greet every guest with genuine energy and hospitality.
  • Build relationships and make guests feel known, welcomed, and valued.
  • Give engaging studio tours and explain the Perspire experience.
  • Help first-time guests feel comfortable and confident before their sessions.
  • Maintain a clean, polished, relaxing, and guest-ready studio.
Sell the Experience

  • Learn about each guest's goals and recommend the membership option that best supports them.
  • Confidently present memberships, packages, upgrades, and promotions.
  • Convert first-time guests into long-term members.
  • Follow up with leads, missed opportunities, and prospective members through phone, text, and other studio communication channels.
  • Ask for referrals and help grow the Perspire community.
  • Meet and exceed individual and studio sales goals.
Own the Follow-Through

At Perspire, great salespeople don't just wait for someone to walk through the door.

You'll:
  • Respond quickly to new leads.
  • Make outbound calls and send follow-up messages.
  • Reconnect with guests who haven't booked their next session.
  • Help fill the schedule and create future appointments.
  • Track your outreach and follow through until the guest has been properly supported.
Be a Great Teammate

  • Bring positive energy and professionalism to every shift.
  • Celebrate team wins and contribute toward studio goals.
  • Receive coaching with an open mind and put feedback into action.
  • Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership.
  • Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done.
You'd Be Great Here If You...

  • Love talking to people and can easily start a conversation.
  • Are naturally persuasive without being pushy.
  • Enjoy sales, goals, incentives, and a little friendly competition.
  • Can listen to what someone needs and confidently make a recommendation.
  • Have strong follow-up skills and don't give up after one unanswered call or text.
  • Are dependable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you may be selling, cleaning, answering phones, helping a guest, and following up on leads throughout the same shift.
  • Want to learn, grow, and be coached.
  • Believe the guest experience matters just as much as making the sale.
What We're NOT Looking For

This role probably isn't the right fit if you're looking for a position where you can simply sit behind the front desk and wait for guests to arrive.
This is an active sales and hospitality role.

We are looking for people who are willing to:
  • Pick up the phone.
  • Start conversations.
  • Ask for the sale.
  • Follow up.
  • Handle objections.
  • Ask for referrals.
  • Keep the studio beautiful.
  • Work toward measurable goals.
  • Take accountability for their results.
Experience
Previous experience in sales, hospitality, fitness, wellness, beauty, retail, membership sales, or customer service is a plus, but we care just as much about personality, drive, and coachability.
If you're confident, personable, motivated, and willing to learn how to sell, we'd love to meet you.
Why Perspire?

At Perspire Sauna Studio, we're helping people make wellness part of their lifestyle through infrared sauna and red-light therapy.
You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Work in a growing wellness brand.
  • Develop valuable sales and communication skills.
  • Earn recognition for strong performance.
  • Learn about wellness and recovery.
  • Build relationships with members of your community.
  • Be part of an energetic, goal-oriented team.
