Job description

Job Summary:
If you are an Inside Sales Lead professional Iooking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting's exciting opportunity based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia supporting downstream market accounts across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. In this role, you will lead a team of application engineers while also directly supporting severe service business for key downstream customers. You will play a critical role in delivering technical and commercial solutions, strengthening customer relationships, and driving business growth through collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
 
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead and manage a team of application engineers supporting downstream accounts, including performance management and KPI tracking.
  • Own and manage quotation activities, RFQ qualification, dashboards, and purchase order compliance for assigned accounts.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers by identifying optimal solutions for demanding downstream and severe service applications.
  • Prepare customer quotations that are timely, technically accurate, and commercially sound, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Business Managers, and crossfunctional teams to support sales pursuits and customer needs.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate orders within delegation of authority, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting records.
  • Provide application engineering support for severe service opportunities and lead technical discussions with customers when required.
  • Work with manufacturing, engineering, and global teams to address lead time, special requirements, and technical queries.
  • Support customers, consultants, and end users in standardization and specification updates to position Emerson Flow Control solutions.
  • Promote new products and solution differentiation to address challenging applications and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with project management, order entry, and customer fulfillment teams to ensure clean order handover and execution.
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, troubleshooting activities, and site walks as needed.
  • Drive process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Comply with Emerson's ethics, trade compliance, quality management, and health and safety requirements in all activities.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Demonstrated experience in inside sales, application engineering, or technical sales support within the control valve or industrial automation industry.
  • Practical knowledge of control valve sizing, selection, and application support for downstream or severe service applications.
  • Ability to lead and support a technical team while managing individual responsibilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with digital tools, quotation systems, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience in mechanical, instrumentation, chemical, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Authorization to work in Saudi Arabia and willingness to travel locally as required.
 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience supporting downstream, refining, oil & gas, or petrochemical applications.
  • Familiarity with Emerson Flow Control or Fisher products and sizing tools.
  • Experience working with EPCs, consultants, or end users across MEA markets.
  • Exposure to severe service applications, troubleshooting, or installed base support.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs and make sound technical decisions based on engineering principles and applicable codes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM or quotation systems.
  • Arabic language skills.
