Job description

The Opportunity:
As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for building mechanical and electrical assemblies for our government and military customers by following production procedures.
Our Technology:
Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. Safran Federal Systems is authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.
How I will contribute:
  • Product assembly using digital Process Details.
  • Assembly at the component level including cables, mechanical assemblies, etc.
  • Testing of products as required via Test Procedures.
  • Solder, de-solder, rework assemblies.
  • Responsible for self-inspection of assemblies.
  • Suggest updates to process details utilizing Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
  • Follow all Company ESD procedures and policies.
  • Use Shop Floor Insight to complete all production-related transactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the role:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 0-2 years' experience in electronics assembly.
  • Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and electronic schematics.
  • Proficient in Office 365, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and follow directions with heavy attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and a team player mentality.
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Ability to be flexible and have fun!
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs 20% of the time.
