Job Purpose:
- The Satellite Assistant Head Start Director at the Community Action Agency of Oklahoma will oversee the daily operations of the Head Start program at designated satellite locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and services to children and families, promoting school readiness and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and administration of Head Start program operations at satellite locations.
- Collaborate with the Head Start Director to implement strategic plans and program goals.
- Supervise and support staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor program performance and outcomes, utilizing data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for staff to enhance service delivery.
- Engage with families and community partners to promote program awareness and participation.
- Ensure the maintenance of safe and nurturing learning environments for children.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation to optimize program effectiveness.
- Address and resolve any operational challenges or issues in a timely manner.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and respect among staff, families, and stakeholders.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an early childhood education setting.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a Head Start program.
- Proven track record of managing and implementing early childhood education programs.
- Experience in collaborating with community agencies and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Abilities:
