Department: Academics
Position Summary: The Test Proctor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all school-based assessments to ensure smooth administration, testing integrity, and compliance with testing requirements. This role works closely with school leadership and staff to support accurate, efficient, and secure testing processes. This is a part-time position with workload that increases during peak testing windows and is lighter during non-testing periods.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule all school-based testing administrations (SAT, AP, PSAT, STAMP, NWEA, and internal assessments), including make-up testing for eligible absent students
  • Develop testing plans and materials, (e.g., logistics, room and staff assignments, rosters, testing environment)
  • Manage testing platforms and vendor coordination (e.g., College Board, ACT), including ordering and setup
  • Verify student rosters, eligibility, and accommodations, and coordinate with the Learning Resource Center to ensure accurate implementation of all approved supports prior to testing
  • Train and support proctors and staff on testing procedures and expectations
  • Draft and coordinate distribution of clear and timely communication to students, parents, and staff regarding testing schedules and expectations
  • Serve as the on-site lead during testing administration, ensuring smooth execution across all locations Oversee test administration and troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Maintain testing security, confidentiality, and compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Document and report testing irregularities in accordance with testing guidelines
  • Maintain accurate testing records and documentation

  • Serve as a resource to staff and administration on testing procedures and requirements
  • Support student awareness of standardized testing requirements related to scholarship eligibility (e.g., SAT/ACT benchmarks and timelines)

Qualifications:
