Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SAS Viya Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, administration, and ongoing support of the SAS Viya 4 platform in cloud and/or on-premises environments.
This role requires a strong understanding of SAS Viya architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, and hands-on experience with modern deployment and automation technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with SAS Viya 4 platform installation administration and troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of SAS Viya architecture and microservices deployment
- Proficiency with Kubernetes administration including pod management namespaces persistent storage PVPVC Helm charts and network policies
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Strong Linux administration skills RedHat SLES Ubuntu
Cloud and Infrastructure
- Experience with public cloud platforms AWS particularly their Kubernetes services EKS
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code Terraform CloudFormation and configuration management Ansible Puppet
